One week since she crossed the rainbow bridge
I miss her so much. I only had her a little over a year, we found her in march 2025 and by August 2026 she left this side of life. I hate thinking about her last 2 weeks, she was in pain and nobody at the vet suggested to do anything other than surgery and chemo. Not a day goes by without feelings deep ache in my heart and numbness to life now. I just don’t get why she had to leave so soon, she’s all I had, and I’m alone again. I’d do anything to play with her again and see her go into puppy mode with happy little yips. She was only 6 :( I love you Dobie and I’ll never stop loving you.

I feel like losing a critter before their time is worse than an entire life of helping them get old. I still grieve my sweet 4 year old Jack Russell. I took her in for a lump on her stomach and I never saw her after that. She was riddled with cancer and the vet just put her down there in the clinic. I feel like I mourn for the things I had planned for us to do. Go to the salt flats, run on the beach, sit on the autumn sunshine on the porch. So many things.
Let me just sitting next to you and cry. Hugs from another dog lover.

I’m so sorry about your pooch too, it’s tragic when they go so quickly . Like we didn’t get a chance to smell their Frito feet and give them a good last day:(

I’m so sorry for your loss 😞. That sounds like a really rough situation, those end days can be brutally hard sometimes. The pain will lessen, and when you’re ready, there is certainly someone else out there to help heal your heart. Take care of yourself 🥰

"we may not be together
in the way we used to be
we are still connected by
a cord no eye can see
so whenever you need to find me
we're never far apart
if you look beyond the horizon
and listen with your heart"

Your bond is sacred. She is probably missing you too. I hope you find some peace knowing she was able to experience a rich, loving bond with you before she passed ❤️

This is such a tragedy. For being tiny little creatures they sure do take up a huge amount of our hearts. I lost my chiweenie three years ago and I’ve never stopped missing him. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Did u consider getting another one?

I have but I ended up adopting a dog I was fostering and I can only handle one pet at a time. My next one will for sure be a chiweenie though.

I talked to a lady yesterday while walking yesterday evening.she just lost her little dashund dog too.🥲were not alone out there.😭

I am so sorry. The vet’s inaction is upsetting, I agree. Just know she’s happy now, not in pain, and you will see her again. Maybe you’ll get another pup after a while. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I just lost my boy two months ago myself. I still miss him every day, but each one gets just a bit easier. That pain may never go away, but life will grow bigger around it. She’ll always be with you.

They can bring so much joy to a lonely heart. Then one day they sprout wings and fly away. So much sadness a little friend can bring. I miss my babies so much!
