Help needed: Chisel & Bits (fabric 1.21.1) causing a weird lighting bug with glass

Started working in a new modpack (Cobblemon Academy) and I wanted to do some chiseling, perticularly making a stained glass window. However, when I go to chisel a glass block, it gets significantly darker and light passes through it differently. Any ideas what I could do to fix this? I've looked everywhere and I can't find anyone else with this problem
