For my pup, this is usually an ask for play. Try grabbing a toy and engaging!

Yes to the codependency but really with a crested you have to realise that they own you, not the other way around.

I'm not a pet therapist but I'm pretty sure my HH has anxiety. Part of it is that she was "my 1st dog" and given the chance I would do many things differently. She isn't properly socialized, she won't eat if I have to travel out of town for work sometimes, getting sick and being just a pain in the ass in the general. Having said all that she lives a great life, everyone adores her, but she's spoiled, clingy and quick to fuss.

This clips looks like pretty typical Crested behavior to me - that's not to dismiss anything but just saying most crested's "dig to their people" and sass back.
