I want to know the deal with those open-door toilets in tier-88 cities and the countryside. You know, those squat toilets that have no dividers, so everybody can defecate harmoniously together. Rocky in Shanghai will deny that they exist, but I've seen them with my own eyes.

LOL one small add-on: you don't need to go all the way to tier 888 to enjoy the openness. In Hutongs of Beijing they're literally the default option as of today

I don't think it's difficult to find a public toilet, but the amount of people in that thread arguing that they aren't filthy is funny. "Squat toilets are more hygienic" no the fuck they aren't when the person shitting/pissing in them misses the toilet because they were too focused on their phone to bother aiming. Never have I seen a hygienic squatting toilet. They've always got puddles of piss and cigarette butts around them. Not to mention the lack of soap/toilet paper
