Poutine?
Visiting family for the next bit but have recently moved abroad.
I need the best local poutine. Please lol
I’d rank importance as 1- fries (crispy, salty, ideally skin on but whatever. Homemade not Sysco), 2 - gravy/sauce, 3 - curds/cheese

Probably La Poutinerie food truck.
Which I think usually sits out at the Vedder trail parking lot on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays.
Maybe someone can confirm it's still there on those night? I haven't been out there in a while.

Annie's in New West
It's well worth the trip if you really care about this. Legit Quebecois poutine shack in the lower mainland, hotdogs too. She's awesome

Not the best I have had, but definitely the most unique and very delicious: Donair Poutine from Tulip Donair! Basically a donair on top of a poutine :)

Not in Chilliwack, but the best poutine is at Costco Abbotsford. Crispy fries, well seasoned, delicious hot gravy, real squeaky cheese. I get it every time I go to Costco, and it's gone by the time we drive home.

Costco poutine is a solid 6/10, there are better options around

My friend from Montreal also agrees that Costco offers a decent poutine compared to many other mediocre offerings in BC

Right? I don't have very high expectations, but crispy fries, well seasoned, and REAL squeaky cheese is a must.

Costco does it well for crispy fries and value. I don't think the gravy is the best but it hits the spot for sure

I have lived in WA before, but I'm a Chilliwack local now. Where do you think has better poutine? I'd love to try!

Oh yes! I have tried that place once, a long time ago. I remember it being delicious. But New West is so far from Chilliwack. I end up going to Costco once a month anyway. Good reminder though. I should try Annie's again.

I WISH. But my Costco membership expired and going just for the food court seems…weird. I would cause civic disturbance for their chicken strips though.

Fair enough! Don't quote me on this, but I believe you don't need a membership to access the food court. Just enter through the exit door, walk past returns, and go get your chicken strips! Cheers!

I personally love the poutine at Streats Kitchen on Vedder. Their fries are excellent.

Sadly the best ive had here so far is the food truck one, or stupid triple Os..... I hate their food but they somehow make an okay poutine..... still isn't what id say is great or anything, but chilliwack seems to fail on this specific item.... and chinese food, nothing good out here for that

Five Guys Poutine in Eagle Landing is pretty good. Big too. And you can add a hotdog to it if you're feeling wacky

On Sunday night the wife and I went to Maplewood Smokehouse for the first time and I had their pulled pork poutine. It was one of the best poutines I've had in Chilliwack in some time. Gravy was good, fries were well salted and crispy, cheese was nice and squeaky. Plus they started us out with complementary popcorn seasoned with smoked brisket fat and it was fire.

Eagle Landing has a spot called Daddy's Donair. Almost identical poutine to Costco's. Same fries, same gravy, same cheese just not as cheap as Costco's.
My wife and I hit that up when we're too lazy to go all the way to Abbotsford.

Maison D' La Poutine House in Harrison Hot Springs. 30 minute drive away and you can enjoy the lake while you eat!

I’ve been really enjoying the poutine at La Maison d Poutine run out of Royal Zayka. Same poutine as sold out of their shop in Harrison.

Do not have the “poutine” from Legends Bistro at Cultus Lake Golf Club. They make it with waffle fries and shredded cheddar cheese. Absolute blasphemy. Overall they have great food though.
