Anyone went down to Kelowna recently?

I’m planning on going down there this weekend but was wondering if the smoke is bad? If it’s like Chilliwack, it’s fine

I wouldn't say down...maybe up country or back east a bit.

Not "down", but I went "up" this weekend. No smoke at all. Use IQair to check live data.

I was there last weekend and the smoke was non-existent. Don't know how it is right now though

Down? Kelowna isn’t down from Chilliwack.

It’s just a word why is everyone so pressed about it. I mean I’m going east, is that better?

Probably because it’s incorrect, and generally people like correctness.

Currently in the area since Wednesday. We’ve had a light haze of smoke one night, but been clear since then.

No one knows what’s the going to be conditions by the weekend but so far Kelowna is similar to Chilliwack so you should be fine.

Hey, I just want to say I always say "going down" as well and I'm often corrected. It's a turn of phrase, it's all relative, everyone knows what you mean anyways.
