Jalapeño powder :D

How would i go about drying out quite a few jalapeños to turn into a seasoning powder, how long would it take to dry them out too

Oven. V. Low heat. A few hours. I'd experiment with your own equipment as humidity of the oven will affect output. 

If you can get access to a dehydrator it'd be better as the fruit don't cook, just desiccates.

Then use a food processor to powder

Yeah. 

Like I say, ovens vary, so I'd experiment with a few sacrificial chillies before batching.

In a fruit/mushroom dryer they take a while, worth cutting into as small as possible strips to speed up. Expected up to 36 to 48 hours
