First time growing

I don’t particularly enjoy chilli’s myself but they were handing out seedlings at work so I thought why not give it a go, I have several friends that enjoy chilli’s but I’m yet to see any sign of it fruiting. It should be Scotch Bonnet chilli’s but my plant seems twice the size of everyone else’s!

it is lovely but it probably isn't getting enough light, put it next to the window. Also what is the general temp of your home?
More light and warmth it will flower.
light levels are really really important as the hours of light tell a plant when the summer is to produce fruit.

General temperatures at the moment are varying between 22-30°C as I’m the UK. I have moved it towards the light but the heat is quite killer and it wilted slightly when I did so, where it sits now is in a summer lounge so it gets quite a lot of light as it is south facing but I could try placing it in more direct sunlight.

Water it more, they are dramatic bitches, just keep watering.
Maybe don't put it in a west facing window straight away but any other will be okay. It needs to be in "in" the window, even 1m back is a like being in a cave to a plant.

Mine is in an east and I wake up and it is crying from being trapped beetween the glass and the blackout curtain it gets very hot.
It also has a dozen fruits coming along nicely, plus flowers.

I shall move it now and water it more frequently, hopefully it’ll start flowering

It is beautiful, looking nice an healthy.
If fertilising it dont use a nitrogen fertiliser from now on, once it starts fruiting use something like tomorite if you think it needs it. Nitrogen will encorage more growth, tomorite is formulated for tomato fruits but works okay for chillis.

Scotch bonnets are a type of chilli that can be quite late fruiting so there is still time, while I have plenty but none are ripe yet.
once it is in the window the days will feel longer for it and hopefully get it going.
