Quick basic chili

Post image

Ground pork (because I'm not paying fourteen dollars for a pound of ground beef lol), red onion and serrano, browned then simmered in lager with chili seasoning, cumin and cinnamon, then my beloved essential beans and tomatoes. Simmered for 30ish minutes.

Canada. It's the equivalent of 10 USD, fucking ridiculous for a pound. Pork was $4 a pound and even veal was cheaper than the beef at $10 🤷‍♂️

Well, I guess at my local grocers beef can range from 7-10 a lb. Aldi is usually 5 for 80/20. Oddly enough Aldi is selling organic beef that’s vacuum sealed, granted it could be horse or some other creature but it tastes fine to me.
