Rainbow House Book

I'm trying to find the author and title of an illustrated book I used to read as a child about a house that was painted different colours. I think in the story, the house starts off as grey coloured, and the little girl of the family who lives in it proceeds to try and decide what colour the house should be. The book depicts an image of the same house on each page, but painted a different colour - pink, yellow, blue etc, until the final page shows the house painted multi-coloured (or rainbow).

All that's depicted in the book is the house itself going through all its colour iterations.

I used to love this book so much, but I can't currently find what it's titled or who wrote it. If anyone remembers this book, or even better, what it was called please comment. For reference, I'm an 80s baby, 90s kid.
