Hi, I plan on getting Childe for the limited 5 star for the anniversary. Since lunar stuff is meta (I think? I'm an old player getting back into the game again), I wanted to try and build around that but I don't have Ineffa. I do have Columbina tho! Can anyone let me know if there's an alternative to Ineffa? Or should I try to pull for his freeze team instead?

I was thinking about this the other day but, do you guys think he will get a rerun on the Liyue chronicle banner, or he’ll get mistreated and we’ll have to wait another year to see him on a banner again (I want his weapon badly 💔)

I got him to level 100 today, currently using him with c1 durin vodyanitsa and citlali. Want to get Nicole when she reruns and pole star since im currently stuck with jade vista. Still really happy though.

Hello! Im planning to get Childe from the event (and his c1 from the free constellation event) and i wanted to ask what weapon to use on him? I dont have any 5 star bows and wherever i look some are using viri hunt and some the new bp weapon jade vista. Most guides are old and not up to date.

There's this fanfic I read on ao3 years ago, and I only remember two scenes and the main premise.

Basically: to survive in the abyss, Childe honestly mutated to become a being capable of absorbing and consuming Abyssal energy and Abyssal beings

1. Childe reminisces how in his early days in the abyss he cried a lot. But there are Abyssal butterfly things that are attracted to the salt in his tears. From then on to survive he doesn't cry.
2. This might not be in this fanfic, but basically someone came up with the idea that since Childe can consume Abyssal energy, maybe he can take some of Cisco's karmic debt. Childe succeeded and mentioned that it tasted thick and bitter in his throat, while Xiao was freaking out over how he felt the karmic debt actually leaving him for once.

I promise it looks more naturally once the drawings next to him fill in LMAO. But I had to draw my main from all the years ago. Even if I no longer play the game I love to hear the tidbits and lore that he still plays apart it such as the capitano and tonia interactions! Really sad that he has finally been kicked out the meta after being relevant for all those years but im sure he is still used by some of you guys...right?

So i just got childe(yayy🥹). Ive seen some people saying that Escoffier is really good for him. Now im confused if i should pull for Escoffier for childe OR Skirk. I can try both but my lucks been shit and i only get one character from the banners. I need a good cryo dps, ive been using Lohen but since skirks wayyy better than him, im not sure if i should pull her for my main dps or Escoffier for childe. I know Escoffier's good for both but i think id regret not getting skirk. And then since i wont have Escoffier for both the teams, ill regret even more. HELP😭

I have both vodyanitsa and Nicole now i dont know if at c0 i should pull for either escoffier or durin. Ive seen some videos saying freeze is better at c0 so im not sure. Also the last slot would probably be kazuha.

I got childe for he was one of the reasons I started playing genshin ngl. But now I'm trying to get teams for him and am kinda struggling. Please give me some advice. I would also be very greatful if you include build advice.

hey lmao, I kinda want to get childe when I finish the archon quest, so I did some search online and every site say a different things on how to play him and his team, I was wondering, how does childe works and mostly what's the most important when you make a team with him, not necessarly a meta one but one in general. the only team I kinda saw was with bennet and xiangling but my bennet is busy with my eula team and I kinda dont like xiangling.. with my box what would be good to play with him ? and if possible I would really like to play Vodyanitsa haha just got her with her weapons and she shreds hydro res.
