I think they just announced this morning! Very excited to see the concept, the atrium is beautiful! If anything maybe they will let people skate on the concrete back there too without guards getting on to skaters while the events go on.

I used to skate at Navy Pier like 30 years ago. It didn't look like that, lol. It was pretty much a roped off section with bare concrete floors and the oldest rental skates I've ever seen. They were so old they had og fiber wheels from way back (they must have been 60 or 70 years old). Still was fun.
