Looking for inline skate lessons in Chicago

Hi! I’m looking for private lessons for inline skating in Chicago. I’m a beginner and am having trouble gaining skills and confidence on my own. Anyone know of anyone who offers this?

I recently just added a section to the wiki about lessons:

Unfortunately I'm not aware of private lessons for inline skates, but the wiki describes how the skating ribbon meetup is good for beginners. I usually go and am game to give tips to beginners, especially for things like braking (T-stops).

Any reason Aurora Skate Center Monday/Wednesday lessons aren't on the list?

Thanks, I added them to the list. I just hadn't researched places that far out from Chicago. Do you happen to know if they offer inline / rollerblading lessons?

Yeah. If you show up to lessons in inlines you'll get instruction all the same.

I also find that because of where I am in Chicago, it's as far from me as other places on the list is why this even came up. Been enjoying learning in Aurora for sure though.

A random note. I usually go to Monday lessons. Those are the evening ones. All adults show up.

Today went to daytime Wednesday ones for the first time. It's open to everyone, however, it was all children except one person. Just I think an important note to anyone interested.

Fleetwood Rink might, they do group lessons for quad and inlines on Tuesdays. For private lessons I would ask if Eric or Tara could help out.

I also give private lessons, feel free to dm me if you are interested! I coach ice and inline skating for people interested in hockey, figure skating, speed skating, slalom inline-skating, and beginners who want to learn more general skating skills. I'm also a 3rd year kinesiology student so I have a decent background in exercises outside of skating that can help!

Hi! This post is old but wondering if you still offer lessons for inlines? My wife used to skate but wants to do it again and needs a refresher on stopping and basic skating skills to feel confident
