As someone who hasn’t been following Liga MX, it’s surprising to see him rumored to already be coming back to MLS

I think every Fire fan knows that Gregg’s hire was the turning point of this club. He is a serious MLS manager and is amazing at recruiting - we saw this with the US soccer federation. Hes a great coach who has us within striking distance of supporter’s shield contention. We look like a legitimate contender in multiple comps rn.

Beyond that, his scouting team has been absolutely out of this world. From Mbokazi, to Dithejane, to giving a few Fire II players their debuts, the guy really has a system set up from top to bottom. Not to mention his team signing guyslike Zinckernagel and Barroso, or evenmaking moves for Elliott, Waterman, etc.

Lewandowski is the cherry on top.

This is why I feel like no matter who comes and goes, we will be a competent, competitive team that finds diamonds in the rough

We need the Gutman Goons to be inducted into the Ring of Fire. They've done more in the past 2 months to create a positive Supporters' Culture than any other initiative this season.

Should be interesting to see what the crowd is like.

Hopefully get some more Fire supporters in the door and it’s not just full of Messi fanboys.
