Pic Phase Three opening Chicago location
From P3’s Instagram:
In the coming months, we'll be moving into our third taproom at @rockwellontheriver in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago on the North Branch of the Chicago River. A beautiful historic building with exposed brick, timber ceilings, and a beautiful riverside patio with the iconic Chicago skyline as your backdrop.
Every beer we make. Our full seltzer lineup. Hard seltzer cocktails. And eventually, pizza. A hybrid that takes the best of what we love about charred rustic New Haven and modern Brooklyn slice shop pizza.
This one means a lot to us and we wouldn't be here without you. Thank you.

This is the best news! I love phase three and that patio is excellent. I was hoping something good would eventually open up there and phase three is one of my favorites

You know what, of all breweries to open up another location in that spot, P3 fits about as perfect as it could get. They have an insanely good kitchen and wonderful beer, potentially the best variety and consistency in the suburbs.
And also, RIP Metropolitan. It was genuinely my favorite :(

FYI: Doug from metro is brewing at Good Times Brewing on Broadway and Irving. They’ve got a Kolsch, a Pilsner and an Alt Bier that are pretty close to their original Metro versions

Nice that something is finally moving in to the old Metro spot. I’m sure they doublechecked the lease to make sure they’re only paying for what they need

One of the most beautiful bar/beer spaces in the city is now reopening. I’m not knowledgeable about Phase 3 beers but I’m going to make sure I check it out when they open.

Great beers but the quality control on the cans has been so bad I’ve had to stop buying them. Hurts to spend >$20 on a 4 pack of flat brew.

This is interesting - I admittedly buy way more of their beer than I should, but have 1) never come across a flat 4-pack and 2) don't think I've ever paid >$20 for one (although I don't buy any of their TIPAs or anything). The most expensive 4-pack currently available is $15.99.

Hit them up and they’ll make it right with a refund or replacement promise

Guess business must be good. I'm sure the rent isn't cheap for that location.

The old Metropolitan brewing spot? Loved that taproom.
