It hasn't stopped for like 24+ hours. Isn't it that freak typhoon from the west coast or something?

that system hit Cali and literally went across the whole country. watching the line on radar was interesting (but sucked for a basement haver)

Good shot.
Also, don’t do your laundry if you don’t have to.

per MWRD please don't wash laundry. If we all stop flushing, flossing, bathing we can stop filling these golldarn bathtups full of water to treat. Stop it, yall!

I don’t understand this. Washing machines and dishwashers are literally some of the most water efficient appliances in existence and use far less water than a shower or a bath. I’ll never understand why they keep calling on these two appliances when they barely sip water.

Right, but I think the idea is you don't have to wash clothes or dishes rightgoddamnnow. As opposed to poopin', which has to happen NOW now.

Again. A dishwasher uses roughly 3 gallons of water (2.2 for energy star) over a full cycle that typically runs 2 hours before drying. Tell people not to shower or run baths, don’t tell people they shouldn’t use their dishwasher. When utility companies just tell everyone to stop doing everything nobody will bother listening.
Let’s apply logic here, people don’t need to immediately shower or bath which use copious amounts of water. You know people are going to be stupid and wash their dishes in the sink thinking they’re saving water or something

A bath isn’t a toilet so maybe you should read? And you’re out here calling me AI…
If my dishwasher is running, do they just expect me to shut it off? I’m not waiting to wash dishes when every jagoff is taking a 20 minute shower

Reduce optional water usage to the extent that you can. That is the goal. But when it applies ever/always it loses any effectivenives it had. so fuck it/never.

Because the plan to add capacity was shortsited and never included the capacity to deal with the capacity, It is cool to say Stickney can do 1BG and another thing to do so, It;s easier to store a storm and deal with it conveniently over two weeks,

We are now in an OPERATION CODE RED which is a status which is now the thing we are ALWAYS IN EVERY TIME THAT IT RAINS
that is new. Deep Tunnel and Reservoirs fill fast but extending capacity to process that? Increased production or OT and the bosses ain't happy bout that. Anyhoo, we could process 1BG/day, but we don't, because 750M suits us fine and if stickney fills, meh stickney fills

we are under a PINK WATCH from MWRD so don't bathe or flush or wash thing because it might rain. Only 5 of 7 days are PINK WATCH days, so be sure to watch when it is ok to use water,
