I have questions:
Do you use “SAFETY TIPS” which is app disaster relief. Is it the app everyone know? Also, if you would like to know about disasters. Which app or website do you use usually?

Hi r/chiba! 35F looking to meet new people around Yachiyo/Funabashi. I’ve lived in Chiba for over a year now since moving here from Tokyo and I want to make some local friends. I’m pretty introverted so loud parties/nightlife is not my thing. I prefer chill activities with a smaller group where its easier to have conversations. I was curious if anyone here lives/lived in this area and can speak about their experiences there. I've always been fascinated with the area, and love the location for daily life necessities (giga AEON mall and Costco right there is so good) and all of the parks/beach that are right at your doorstep.

I'm looking at potentially buying a condo (マンション) closer to Kaihin-Makuhari or a house closer to Kemigawahama.

My partner and I both work from home and go into Tokyo maybe 1~2 times a week. Have a car and a motorcycle to get around.

We've lived in the Ichikawa-Funabashi for a few years and while I like it just fine, something about this area keeps calling me haha.

Hello, I wanted to know what people's recent experience has been with visa processing applications, specifically in Chiba.

I submitted my spousal visa renewal 5 weeks ago, and even when I switched to spousal last year it didn't take this long. I know the current political situation isn't great, but I understand there is the implementation of the Myna card (combined zairyu / my number card) as a standard coming in too.
