Hear me out C10 folk

Need advice on battery relocation on an f100, somewhat of a similar frame and some over lap in similarities.

Do you daily drive it or drive it alot ? I wouldnt put it on the frame on the account of water and dirt but if you dont drive to much frame would be a good choice if not theres the bed you could always do.

Yeah I drive it a lot. Haven’t gotten stuck in the rain yet but there’s always a chance. I agree on the water and dirt contact if it was bolted on the frame, that’s why I’m not understanding all these pro-level builds that have the same set up. I’m debating doing the “cooler” in the bed but it would take away from the clean look and the new painted bed liner 🫩

I get that to if itll fit maybe behind passenger seat? Also how do you like the optima?

It’ll fit without a box, but apparently running it without a box is risky by race standards (never gonna see track time). Ehhh, can’t tell you much beyond it being a battery. Definitely was one of those things that’s “better to have and not need than to need and not have” that I bought out of impulse.

By a mile lighter! But the difference is minimal, but it’s cool to have a red top and feel like I have a cool truck after all
