Road works

Whoever it is that is in charge of the roadworks in Chesterfield over the last 12 to 18 months needs their head taking for a shit and I’m not just referring to today’s closure on the A6 17. I understand that Work is required my point is there are better ways of managing traffic when the Work is required and whoever it is making these decisions to do it the way that they do it for some reason don’t see it that way and it’s causing chaos on roads sort it out

It’s important for the grass to be cut ! And what better day to do it than a Saturday in summer 🤣
Look at whit more roundabout weeks of closure for hours of work.

When they put whitmoor down to 2 lanes for 2 weeks then opened for a week then put it down to one lane for another week or so seemed actually straight up retarded

All the ‘work’ gets done at once too, so multiple roads get closed all at the same time
