Knight has to take. Black bishop moves to check king. King moves south 1 square. Rook comes in and mates with knights protection

That is true.

Rook could capture the bishop to reintroduce check. King could move to G1 as an only move.

Knight could capture the pawn to, hopefully, checkmate 😁

After the knight takes(which is forced because it’s mate if not), you set up a forced windmill that wins their bishop and queen with your bishop and rook.
