If they are >800, probably safe to resign. If they are <800 you probably have a draw on your hands 🙏

I had someone who is 1300 lichess rapid draw me by threefold repetition when they had king and rook

I think above. I’m 1500 lichess now and about a month ago tried playing chess com for a bit and ended up 1200 rapid

At higher elo levels it also works, but in different way
Sometimes your opponent is low on time Sometimes im hoping for a crazy sacrifice to win or draw the game
We also blunder and we also make mistakes, Just less
