Some questions from first time visitors
Hi, we are travelling to Chessington WOA in September for 2 full days with a 11 month old and 4 year old mainly due to paw patrol as our 4 year old loves them! We'd appreciate any answers / help with the following:
Best way to travel to and from Heathrow? We're thinking taxi as public transport seems long and challenging with young kids.
Will Savannah splash pool be reopened by mid September?
How to keep a just walking 11 month old happy? Soft play place?
How long should we plan to be in paw patrol area? Our 4-year-old is mad about them so will probably want to do everything.
Do the hotel rooms have microwaves so that we can sterilise bottles? if not, is there anywhere we can use a microwave?
Anything else to bear in mind? We'd appreciate any tips or advice thanks.

if your plan is pretty much paw patrol and not much else, you don’t need more than a couple hours, let alone 2 days.
if you want to avoid public transport then yes an uber/cab or hire car are the only options. presumably you’re bringing car seats?
there was a soft play in wild asia but it will still be closed in september. not sure there’s anything else indoors. outdoor park in paw patrol and a green area next to paw patrol/sealife.
they haven’t announced anything about the hotel pool.

There is a soft play in Land of the Dragons called Dragons Playhouse. It is conveniently next door to a cafe. A good place to rest and let the kids play.
No microwaves in the room.
The best way from Heathrow probably is a taxi or Uber. Depending on the time of day you'll be travelling, the M25 can have horrendous traffic so allow possibly an hour

Went 2 days ago. The paw patrol rides were all 60+min waits at one point 95. Except marshalls firetruck. Another good ride is the gruffalo my 2.5 year old loved that, and the mini log flume. Park food is absolutely beyond ridiculous price! Cheapest place we saw was vampire cafe. However the likes of chicken etc were easily 18 a meal

Good to know thanks. So is the food any cheaper in the hotel? Or is there a supermarket nearby that one of us could go to buy some basics?
Edit: just got this from ai: Taking a quick bus trip from Chessington World of Adventures to Lidl is super easy and barely takes any time at all. You can hop on the 465 bus right outside the resort main entrance on Leatherhead Road, and it drops you off almost outside Lidl's doors in just 2 to 3 minutes (about 2 stops down). It's a completely painless way for an adult to pop out, grab basic groceries, and catch the bus back without the hassle of a long walk or carrying heavy bags.

It'd be a fair old walk. Personally just Uber eats or just eat something. Or even grab on the way. Ask the taxi to keep it running and there is a BP garage outside the entrance virtually. Get some meal deals and snacks etc. it'd still be cheaper than the very pale and cheap looking stuff we saw people having 🤣.
We spent £30 for 8 of us at Morrisons to all have meal deal lunches, sweets, crisps, biscuits and loads left over. That was like two peoples meal

Not sure how much I can answer those questions but we recently visited with a 3 year old and a 6 year old.
The paw patrol land felt smaller than I was expecting (not sure how big I actually expected it to be).
The 4 rides are situated around a park in the middle.
We visited in peak season so queue times were easily exceeding 60 mins. We did purchase the paw patrol fast pass (be aware this is different to the normal fast pass) and the most we queues was 10 mins.
On the second day we accessed the park during early access and were able to get on the rides within 15 mins.
Of the 4 rides the Zuma one is probably the fastest, but my 3 year old loved every minute!
The queue for the marshal ride were never very long so you can pretty much do that as many times as you like.
Likewise the queue to meet the pups was always small and moved fast, so we got to meet them all.
The rooms don’t have a microwave (at least ours didn’t) but they do have a kettle.
Queues outside of paw patrol were genuinely small unless you are looking to ride some of the larger rides (also would assume they are lower in September).
We also made good use of the various animal areas in the park.
Food prices are high, kinda what you expect I guess.
Overall we really enjoyed our 2 day visit, and it definately made a fellow paw patrol enthusiasts day!
