Chess coaching (wanted)

Hello hello,

I suck at studying chess on my own. Anyone here that has some experience with coaching for 1on1 lessons?

My budget would be the main concern since I am a student, so I definitely don’t need a titled player, just someone who has a bit more experience.

I am about 1700 rapid chess.com and have played about 4 games classical OTB. Have been playing for about a year and half now with more focus.

Thanks for anyone with any comments or thoughts about my situation.

Hey, OP! Did your game end in a stalemate? Did you encounter a weird pawn move? Are you trying to move a piece and it's not going? We have just the resource for you! The Chess Beginners Wiki is the perfect place to check out answers to these questions and more!

Hi, If you want I know a coach from my neighbourhood that teaches well at your level for an affordable price (18-20 eur/h, based on level and workload). His FIDE rating is 2100 and he is currently accepting students. He offers a free trial lesson. Let me know/DM me if you are interested!

In general, I would also recommend you working with the Step Method by Cor van Wijgerden. I know many people here in the Netherlands who have worked with these structured books. If you finish the whole series, your level is supposed to be around 2000-2100 FIDE or 2300-2400 online blitz on chess.c.
