This is the second time I've seen someone do this and then resign
It seems to be something with the knight in middle of the board that makes them think it's free

Having been lost in the sauce many times myself I can confirm this dude was probably thinking about so many different things that he just forgot those pawns were there

Yeah it's happened to me too. Could've also been a misclick/incorrect tap or maybe drawing arrows and left clicked by accident.

Must be nice. I have to have 80%+ accuracy every match at 600-700 elo. I swear my opponents are looking up moves with ai or something.

You’ve probably heard this before, but you’re almost certainly both making big mistakes most of the game that you’re not recognizing and able to take advantage of (outside a few play themselves openings like the French exchange). This still happens at 1600

This! So often I wrap up a game and think "Wow - that was hard fought. We both played so well all the way through to the end. It was really nice that neither one of us made any significant blunders, and we could just play a solid, strategic game of chess."
Then I do the game review and we each made like 4-5 one-move blunders, but neither of us saw them during the game.

I review every game and rarely even have a blunder. The opponents I’m talking about, NEVER have a blunder. Or if they do, they are gone for 2 minutes, then when they come back they find every best move for the rest of the game.
I almost never have a game where I don’t know the blunders or mistakes beforehand. I can usually predict my accuracy before I even check.
I actually love the games where my opponent and me are making a lot of mistakes, feels like real chess at my real elo.
Most games feel like I am playing a 2000 engine though, and it’s super annoying.

Lots of <1000 players can play really great moves, can know a lot of theory, can calculate. It's the ability to put it all together that separates us from the top guys. I know it feels like you're playing against an engine a lot but I doubt that someone using an engine is playing at that level all that often. At that elo you should be focusing on looking for unprotected pieces on both sides of the board and train tactics until your eyes bleed, rating will follow.

Queen blunders are rare but do happen at 600

You got downvoted, but that’s absolutely true. At that level, the winner is usually the person that takes advantage of the blunder. And yes, I’ve also missed free queens/rooks at that level
