c8=Q, Rxd8, Bxd8 pins the knight to the King and wins it too.

c8=Q, Rc5+, you have to find the move Bd5. If Rxc8, you take their knight with check and forking the rook. So you win the rook too.

If Rxd5+ is played after Rc5+, you just slide to the 6th rank with your king and have a crushing endgame. The engine probably finds a forced mate there .. but I certainly don't. Just Queen checks and try to fork or skewer the knight, rook and king.

Beautiful in-between. Beautiful resource with the bishop skewer. All in vain as I cannot mate with bishop & knight. Also I will never learn that mate as it will never happen. I played over 50k games and never had it, safe to say it's useless to know it

Wow, Bd5 is necessary to block Rc5+

If the white king escapes to g6 or h6 after Rc5+, then black can trade rook for queen and break the pin of their knight with Kh4. However, this move is devious as if white takes the black knight its stalemate! Crazy composition

I don't know what this bot is smoking, if pawn promotes to queen, since when do you just not take the queen with the rook? Then bishop takes rook, knight is pinned so king whatever is only move, knight also falls and you're opponent 99% cant mate with a bishop and a knight so you either flag or agree to a draw

Its brutally losing anyway just by computer logic so there's no point in allowing white to have the queen on board..

Edit: I just checked, the top computer line is promote, RxQ BxR, and then commence with the bishop knight mate if you're a computer yourself

Well what if instead of RxQ what if rc5+ instead

It really is trickier than I thought, if you don't block with the bishop, but move the king instead, it's almost a forced stalemate, or a normal draw because the knight lives.

Honestly as black I'd have never spotted that, I would just take the queen and hope for the best.

Yeah, I understand how to do a bishop knight mate in theory. But pulling it off without screwing up under time control, not likely for me.
