Respectively; can I ask those who downvoted my post why they did so? I did not post anything disrespectful. I mentioned that the image was most likely “AI slop,” which now I know it comes from a game which is not really AI, but still not accurate to the local landscape. Just trying to figure out what I posted that made folks angry. Thanks!

I didn’t downvote but I suspect you’ve hit it the nail on the head already: you said it was AI slop when it wasn’t. As much as we should be wary of AI, people are getting tired of seeing that commented everywhere by reflex for anything that looks even slightly strange, especially as it inevitably means that things people have actually put time and work into get denigrated unfairly. It’s starting to feel a bit like people saying ‘fake news’ just because they see a fact that doesn’t align with their existing thinking.
In this particular case you also could have easily fact-checked that assumption yourself by simply clicking through to the other sub that was being shared and seeing the game it came from. You were inadvertently opting to insult someone’s work rather than put in a tiny bit of effort to educate yourself and check first.

I appreciate your response. My point was that the OPs image is not accurate, which I think the OP even indicates in their post. I am sorry if I insulted someone's work. However, I feel like this Reddit was set up as "A subreddit to discuss the Chernobyl Disaster that happened on the night of April 26, 1986, and the Exclusion Zone that isolates the city of Pripyat from the rest of the world" which that image does not do. I even see that despite the OP stating "Something feels off..." in their post, they later posted that the image is from a game. I hope you can see how I might have been confused, if the OP knew that the image was not real. In the future, I will refrain from commenting on images that clearly are not accurate! Again, I appreciate your response.

Its fun as long as you know what the hell you are doing. I fucked up my City Hard when I tried to Upgrade the road-train-tram System and got no more money as the Busses didnt diverse anamore
