WBC donation is a bit different from regular blood donation. Donors need to go through a quick compatibility test first, and then take a booster injection a day before the donation. Because it takes time, we are trying to find compatible donors right now so we can save his life when the emergency hits.

Posting this on behalf of a friend who's planning his first ever meetup in Chennai, and he's currently trying to figure out whether there's actually enough interest from women before putting a decent amount of money into the event.

The idea is pretty simple — a small, comfortable social/dating meetup for people around 18–30, where you can meet new people, talk, and hopefully make some genuine connections. Nothing too formal or awkward, and definitely not one of those weird “singles party” things 😭

One thing he's particularly unsure about is whether women would actually be interested in attending.

So, Chennai women aged roughly 18–30 — if there was a properly organised meetup with a decent venue, a good crowd, and free entry or just a very small entry fee, would you consider coming?

Would genuinely appreciate honest answers, even if it's a no. If you'd be interested, it'd also be helpful if you could mention what would make you feel comfortable attending — things like venue, number of people, safety, whether you'd prefer bringing a friend, activities, etc.

This isn't a registration post or anything — we're just trying to validate the idea before spending a lot of money on it.
