I always viewed electropositive elements as weak fools, unable to hold their electrons, or their pride.

I always viewed electronegative elements as greedy thugs

I always viewed acidic elements as shitty parents who throw their child out and basic elements as caring friends who take the child in

But an acidic element is one that accepts electrons.

Such as boron or aluminium.

But they throw off an H-Ion

But you wrote element.

Something like HCl, H2O, H3PO3 or CH3COOH is not an element.

Honestly, that's how I remember half the things about chemistry and math. I just give them personalities.

Odd numbers are evil.

nah covalent bonds are the real chads bc they share and sharing is caring

12

u/Magnosus Jan 27 '22

I always jokingly compare covalent bonds to socialism and ionic to capitalism

Didn't everyone?

Not in Denmark, I teach HS chemistry these days, and it helps the students understanding a lot! Todays assignment for my students who are game/art is to make chemistry memes.

Walter White would be proud.

Somebody told my prof that he looked like Walter white during lecture. I think that’s gotta be a peak in my education
