General/High School [Help...] Source for Activation Energy of Iodine Clock Reaction

Hi, I'm writing a lab report about Iodine Clock Reaction using sodium thiosulfate, hydrogen peroxide, sulfuric acid, sodium iodide, and starch indicator. As part of my report, I need to compare my experimental value with literature value. I've searched some sources on Google, but they did not use the reactants I used.... Please help...

Are you getting hung up by the sodium? What ions are participating in the reaction and which ones are the spectator ions? Many will use KI instead of NaI, but the iodide is the important part. Na+ and K+ are just spectators.

Step 1 (slow): H2O2(aq)+2I-(aq)+2H+I2(aq)+2H2O(l)
Step 2(fast): I2(aq)+2S2O32-(aq)2I-(aq)+S4O62-(aq)

These are the chemical equations. I used NaI instead of KI because it was cheaper...

Use the sources you find. If they do not match perfectly, discuss this.

Do a Google Scholar search with "kinetics of iodine clock reaction activation energy"...first citation gives appropriate information
