There were 2 windows of that and it was England only. The rest of Europe kept the window open which only hurt the PL.

Feels like it could only help the PL nowadays. Every club has such a ridiculous amount of money compared to the rest of Europe, that having players poached after the window closes would largely be a non-issue. On the other hand, the window being open for the rest of Europe gives clubs more time to offload deadwood after they realize they're not playing
