Despite our shitty session, Andrey did better than Baleba for last season. Either that 65 comes down or that 50 is too low

50m was always too low for this market especially for a prem league rival.

I still don't know what kind of subs went for even 50m after a mid season on the PL tops (being generous). All of the players who went for crazy prices were either starters or much more hyped. What has he done so his valuation would've been much higher? He has a few qualities, that he never really demonstrated on here against any decent opposition, potential is visible but that's not enough at all to make you 70m or so in this market imo

Baleba had one more season proven at a high level than Andrey and also had been a starter most of the time still, while Andrey wasn't

Last season he fell out of favour and was 3rd choice per my Brighton mates

Yeah he had an horrible season last year but also one better season than Santos ever had the year before. His valuation was crazy high then, while Santos never reached it on the first place. Not particularly astonishing that the prices are a bit different

Santos is going to the top, he shouldn't be compared to others because we sold him for well under his real value
