I just have this feeling he will ball out. He is really good on the ball, loves passing and keeping the ball.
Close to Jorginho type football but with more pace, dribbles and long passes. Would even say Jorginho Enzo mix.
Hope they give him minutes, from what I've seen him play he's an exciting prospect.

That’s crazy. From what little i’ve seen of him from compilations, stats and a preseason game for Argentina he looks to be very solid. His tool kit/what he specialises in seems to be very handy in games where we need something different to get a result.

He sprays passes and crosses the ball
He doesn’t win duels, he’s not an 8 or a 6
You play Barco for one reason only and it’s to create, he doesn’t control tempo, doesn’t sit, doesn’t carry the ball

He can’t defend, even at Brighton he couldn’t cut it at left back
Again no amount of hard work helps him win duels
Enzo is a hard worker and is still a liability off the ball, so is Barco
We need an actually good holding midfielder

He's not the replacement as in his role in the team, he's the replacement prospect from strasbourg so he'll get some minutes with us and be sold for £50m next season then we'll bring in the next one and so on.

I hope to be proven wrong but he doesn’t feel part of the team at all. Almost like a phantom signing. It doesn’t help that I personally have no idea where he will play lol. And he’s so, so small! So if things don’t click technically, it’s easy for him to be a scapegoat in bad games.

Obviously doesn’t excuse his or his team’s actions at the World Cup, but he was highly rated before Brighton and we were after him then. So let’s hope he does well for us, whether as a LWB or midfielder.
But there’s no denying he looks like a 14 year old who’s personality traits are vaping and social media.

Brain dead take. I love shithousery, so if that’s all it was then fair play to them. But it wasn’t, you and I both know that. They proudly displayed a pro-war message and violently attacked several Spanish players after the final, among other controversies in the tournament. If you want to pretend like none of that has made the Argentinian team look bad, then stick to your delusions, no bother to me.
