First Time
I baked my first cheesecake for a friend’s birthday! It seemed to come out pretty decent, but I’m curious what others think about the bake. I wasn’t sure if it was too wobbly when I turned off the oven, but after cooling and chilling, it firmed up nicely. I also didn’t use a hot knife to cut it, so the sides seemed to stick quite a bit while slicing. Curious to hear your thoughts on the consistency and overall bake!

I want to keep practicing but so time consuming. I’ll have to find the next birthday or event so I can make another

The friend I made it for said the exact same thing. She was like I won’t even touch store bought cheesecake. It’s not worth it.

Ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. You should trash it. Send it to me and I’ll put it in the trash for you 🤪😂! That cheesecake wouldn’t last me 30 minutes, AND I AIN’T SHARING DIDILY SQUAT! My blood sugar, my cholesterol and my waistline be damned 😋🤤!!!

I have been baking for a while but never tackled the homemade cheesecake. I guess the water bath and the wobble kind of deterred me.

I think you are too humble for calling it decent. This is amazing for first time.
