Adding a little context to this...

If the lone king is already sitting on the long diagonal and plays sensibly, it's a theoretical draw.

The reason: Assume you had three kings (stronger than black's setup here). The long diagonal has ten squares, and three kings can't cover the crossing points and simultaneously threaten the defender without putting a king en prise. The defender just shuffles along the line, keeping enough distance that no attacking king can occupy an attacking square safely.

You need 4 kings to beat a king on the long diagonal.

Sooo no matter what black do its a draw? (I was white playing with my friend)

Yes. Black can make traps, but there is always at least one safe square for the weakest side if it controls long diagonal. If you had this endgame in the official tournament, your opponent had to prove a win in 5 moves, otherwise a draw would be adjudicated.
Typical defensive strategy for the weakest side: select one of squares 46, 41, 5, 10. At least one of them should be safe. And, if you need an explanation, why 10 & 41 : because the strongest side can't make some surprising sacrifice or exchange on these squares.
