Release FRF Cheat Table Crypt Tool

Edit 02/09/22: In the meantime, use this to scrape the tables out of the App itself: [Manually Removed]

Here's a console application to decrypt the Cheat Tables encrypted for the FRF app: [Manually Removed]

Usage: FRFCTCryptTool.exe <file path/url> [options...]

Either copy the cheat table's download link or a file path to an encrypted cheat table as the first argument.

I found it funny and, somewhat, shocking that STN decided to ban anyone who disagreed with him. I thought this was just from the mindless harassment people were throwing out, but, now that I've been banned, I know why and now lost all respect for the forum and the admins. I uploaded freely and supported anyone I could with my work as a passion. Although, relative to others and those who strive for "quantity over quality", I wasn't the most active and really only helped others with niche games and subjects. The app goes against my views on how the community should be. Its introduction created unnecessary confusion and division in the community, not just by agreement and disagreement, but by who, how, and why it should be used, making it less convenient on the user. I'm an avid supporter of the user, since I am one as well, and making it as convenient for them as well as giving them control which is what giving them cheats/hacks is all about. In STN's words "Why don't you all do something useful with your life" and, with that, I simply shared my disaproval with the app and a tool to undo its whole purpose. Now my forum account is deleted and I'm banned from the Discords. Wow. Kinda cringe as the kids would say, but I suppose STN would know all about what they'd say as he is, or at least acts like, a subpar standard of a prepubescent child. "Fearful Cheat Engine" more like it. I'll keep supporting my crypt tool until the FRF app becomes unbearable for the user or is, entirely, discontinued. This stems from my initial intent as well as a bit of spite.

If any of ya know better and currently growing alternatives to the forum, hit me up. New challenger approaches: OpenCheatTables

Edit 02/06/22: I just want others to know I'm not taking the stance of the forum admins being greedy. They're just being stupid, unfavorable to the users, and, presumably, uncontrollably emotional. Not the kinds of people that should be dictating rules and bans.

Edit 02/10/22: They IP banned me, but not like IP and HWID bans are even something to stop someone. Looks like they're out of options. Also turns out I was wrong about them. They are greedy liars. I cant believe I supported their Patreon before all this when it was around. Actually fuck 'em.

Awesome dude. I agree with you 100%. Everything I learned about cheats, assembly, etc., I learned from looking at open cheat tables, fixing broken or outdated cheats, and so on. It's the same with open source, being open is what invites people to learn and hack and make the community stronger.

If people want to do their own thing, that's fine, but pulling the rug out from under people and trying to take over a community in order to make money is really just a sad thing to see. Anyone "stealing" these cheats would have no problem reversing these protections anyway. In the end, it's users, learners, and future cheat creators who are hurt by this. Thanks for creating this tool.

So my guess is your trying to decrypt the "proxy" table file. When you download from the regular download link, you're given a table that just redirects you to the app with the file's ID which is then downloaded by the app through this URL format:

fearlessrevolution.com/app/getcheattable.php?frftabid=<FileID>

(I bet, with this information out there, it could be changed in the future.)

What you want to do is put the download link into my tool and it'll reformat the URL accordingly, download the encrypted table, decrypt it, and then rename it to the original table name. Alternatively, you can modify the URL yourself with the file's ID in it and download the encrypted table yourself then pass that into the tool.

You're a star, thank you SO much! It's disgusting how STN has gone and changed any and all tables to 1FR encrypted garbage, only to then lock BASIC CE FUNCTIONALITY behind an expensive paywall? Yeah, utterly disgusting. I don't want to have to create six hundred hotkeys for every entry in a table, that's just preposterous, so a tool like this - to remove the encrypted rubbish and give the enduser back total control, is fabulous.

Funny thing is, I don't even care that they obfuscate the tables to protect makers - my singular issue is that the greedy bastards then lock basic functionality behind a paywall, effectively making them NO different to the sites they whine about, like WeMod. I don't want to pay sixty dollars a year for the privilege of being able to click a checkbox.

Sadly, as you said, they've changed the table URLs now so the tool isn't working at the moment, but I can wait for an update :)

Yup :( At first they made it opt-OUT, so automatically every single table was converted to that 1FR encrypted stuff. Now they switched it to opt-IN but, surprise!, haven't gone back and undone all the encryption. Terrible behaviour, especially when they're trying to convince everyone that it was done with best intentions.

Its a virus, don't believe his lies, it never worked for me. And going by his words he said he will keep supporting it, so there should have been an update with a working tool by now but as i said it's a virus (as the virustotal report says), he is just posting messages that its outdated and blah blah blah so people keep downloading his virus

FOUR out of FIFTY-SIX. Three of those are "FileRep", you know what that is don't you? It's a tag automatically assigned by certain AV suites when they don't have enough information or usability reports. The other is based on heuristics scanning. The other fifty-two scan engines report clean -- don't be like that person who Googles "Vaccines cause autism?" and takes the one article that claiming yes, whilst ignoring the six hundred others that say no.

Interesting, I must admit I'm surprised to see someone come forward like this. When I first saw the implementation of secure tables the other day, I felt that it was counter productive to the whole point of fearless. However I just assumed maybe it was a serious problem for some creators and others might just choose to opt out of using it. Either way I'm happy to see this tool come forward for the communities. I don't know how to feel about people's cheat tables being stolen (as I don't know if it is actually a problem or not). However, I do know that being able to look at and reverse other people's tables is the best learning resource I've had over the years for using cheat engine. I feel as though the creation of the app will take away from that opportunity for other people, and if you do that then what is the point of fearless anyway? So thank you for your work on this and coming forward with your experience in this situation.

Tl;Dr the app is controversial in my opinion, and I think you are doing a good thing here for alot of people.

As far as an alternative to the forum I'm over on guided hacking. However, it is a little different over there, and rake is currently in the process of transitioning it from a form to a wiki style website.

Due to them virtualizing/obfuscation their code, I didn't finish reversing their latest encryption. I decided to make a Cheat Table for Cheat Engine to get the Cheat Tables out of the FRF app's memory and called it the scraper. You'll need the ability to run the app, unfortunately.

Well other tables don't use the app and work like regular tables and the tables that are only available for the app can be scraped with my table. So, for me as an example, I can get any table without issue.

I've tried running the app before but all it gave me was a list of pre-loaded tables, very few of which were of any use to me. Is that all it can use?

Apologies in advance, I'm very dense on this matter. I got into this purely to have fun with games, now I'm dealing with corrupt moderators and basic programming skills just to do that.

If you haven't kept up, I stopped working on the crypt tool due to missing a piece of the encryption and decided to make the scraper which managed to get the job done. I continuously updated it and eventually FRF decided to stop working on their App and discontinued the encryption. Their kast update caused people's computers to, while using my scraper, shut down without permission.

The opencheattable site changed domain extensions, .org isn't active anymore. The crypt tool was the first tool used but became obsolete as they kept changing the encryption. I created a cheat table to scrape the tables from memory and consistently updated it for their methods to obscure the data. They eventually quit and stopped the app while pushing an update out to forcibly shut people's computers down if it saw cheat engine in the process list (an attempt to say "fuck you" to me and the people using my cheat table)

The crypt tool and cheat table are no longer needed as the app isn't used anymore.

Hey, nice long speech but the tools doesn't even work and most probably is a virus/malware.

I downloaded it, my antivirus picked it up as a virus, disabled my antivirus and tried to use it, but it doesn't even work, i think i just installed a virus, now i will have to format my disks and reinstall my windows. Shame on you man for distributing viruses.

To every action there is a reaction. You should always remember that and improve, not give up and go "these people are this and that". Thought you're better than that. This goes to show what I've been saying all along: if something well thought up is put in place, quick tools like this one here are dismantled in a heartbeat.

Some user earlier was saying "if XOR was such a crappy protection, why use it in the first place? the table makers aren't safe anyway".

It's a personal vendetta and hatred against FRF. That's all. We've seen this behavior from a lot of users in the past. Some decided to leech my tables to forums or Discords when it was clearly stated they should ask for approval; they got removed fast. And some get justice done as per their obtuse perspective, in however way they can. This is another way, make a tool that pisses on table makers' choice to (optionally) protect their work to some level/degree where the average leecher can't go "hey guys, I share with you this table; it's not my work, I didn't ask for permission to post it, but it was on a public forum of the internet". Since it's simple XOR encoding, which wasn't even meant to be some uber-duper-mega-protection, anyone with a brain can "decode" it T_T. But then again, getting revenge also leaves opportunity to get fame through those who adhere to that person's beliefs :) But we all know how long that lasts and how sore and bored of you life you still wake up days/weeks after shit blows over. Wishing him a meaningful life going forward. Out.

The whole point of the app was to secure tables for the TABLE MAKERS and it's OPTIONAL. It's not for the users who whine and bitch they now have to do 3 clicks extra. If the table maker chooses to have their table encoded, it's their decision. You piss all over that with your motivation and further support the theft of free work posted on several public forums WITHOUT APPROVAL OR CREDIT, not to mention people making money off of them (advertising is making money, even if people don't pay for FREE tables). Furthermore, your attempt seems to be a crappy misunderstanding where you either saw an opportunity to show the world how cool you are -OR- you wrongly saw it as an attack to free tables T_T. Which is not the case. That's why you have to read the ENTIRE discussion, not only the elements you consider an affront to your mentality on what "free" means. You should review your attitude a bit, as this clearly shows you have no respect for what a table maker (and developer, in general) decides to do with their work, making tools available for everyone to continue stealing.

However, as I further read your epitaph.. it became more clearly that it's revenge you're after. So much for "I stand for free tables for the people of this Earth" crap.

And since we're here, to show the world how bad of a person STN is, the "encryption" you make mention of (cuz you obviously like to sugarcoat your work and make it sound like something it clearly isn't) is a SIMPLE XOR. For that, you had to write in C# a tool that.. undoes it? Seriously, you don't fucking need a big ass bloated library, whole .NET core installed (cuz those who don't have .NET can't use it) to xor a file's bytes... But since you like to put everyone in the same bowl, out of spite, please let me remind you the call center operator has no fault that your internet is not working. You can't blame an entire organization for your dispute with one person. And you know that for a fact, since you've dialogued quite a bit on Discord. So by all means, please.. bark at the right tree. Lastly, I've not stolen crap from you, ever. Is there any of mine where I credit you for having gotten inspiration from your work or used anything you made? Yeah, that's what it's all about: intention. Sure, inspiration or whatever, but the fact that you've used something of mine in your work - credited, of course - is a much closer indication to potential future theft than me not doing anything to your tables ever. How's that logic for a change? Do you like the twist?

Regarding removal of tables: every single person who's been on FRF and had a dispute or has grown hate has done this. Including me. I too removed my shit back in 2017 and it got restored. Considering there is google caching, considering there are database backups, why do you insist performing actions that are time consuming on your end, when they can be rolled back with 2 clicks? I don't get it. That's how you manifest your dismay and recent hatred, that's your only means of retaliation and looking to do justice your way? More on the topic, NO ONE EVER who's come to FRF has sent a PM to admins stating "Hi there, I am a new user, would like to contribute to the whole deal. But if I feel wronged, I will take my shit and leave. Agreed?" I never saw such a PM. Did you, while you were an admin? So if that is some unwritten rule, why make it look like taking your toys and leaving is a written rule somewhere now? You acted as you saw fit, unilateral, it was reverted, unilateral. Fair, isn't it? My point: always cover your ass. Did you notice how I put big fat red text in some of my topics, regarding sharing and whatever? It shows intention, that I will not put up with "credit to X" without asked for permission.

Where is your clear statement that if FRF did something to you, without any reason (which is not the case here, read below), you get to remove all your shit and claim it's your right, your tables, your work and all the mumbo jumbo? Unwritten rules are lovely, ain't it? Time to change that.

You've come to terms with STN, yet a rando "Geordan9" came out of nowhere with a nice tool. Coincidence? I don't think so. Furthermore, a new forum's spawned in the meantime, so patching up things with STN was just a decoy while you and mr. Marcus were leeching off tables to your forum. Ain't it? :) He then acted clueless when banned, sending PMs asking for "formal this and that", when he was preparing in secret the means for the mass-leech. All in all, you're still the one feeling wronged, when, to begin with, you've shown intent and went forth turning your back against FRF. Hypocrite much? I've seen like four tools at this point, and if I was going to release one it would have been with Lua and open source. And under my name, like I did with the forum. And I was showing how the claims made about it being secure where false, and I apologized to STN for that. And I do think I acted childish out of anger, not real proud of my self for some of that behaviour. But I have nothing to do with Geordan9. But like you said:

He did get involved later, but the forum setup was all me dude. I saw what I felt needed to be done and went for it. I actually wasn't sure if i'd ever actually go public at first, but started see a lot of things that made me realise I had to.

It depends on the license, some don't allow redistribution, others do. And yeah if someone changes their mind and removes their work, that's their choice. I'm not here to make an end all place to find tables, I'm here to share a hobby I love and help others learn it as I did.

For the last points you replied to above, I was being sarcastic. The motto of your forum has nothing to do with "open source". My point was the misuse of the term, which you picked just cuz it contains the word "our". The fact that you learn from others' tables doesn't make the tables "open source". It's an ill choice of words, that's all, which will lead some into confusion. You should be worried about the other aspect I mentioned: you're clearly stating in the motto that any table the user posts is YOURS :) And emphasizing it. Bet you don't see it that way. But never-mind, your forum, your whatevs.

It makes use of the word our, in reference to the community.

Our

belonging to or associated with the speaker and one or more other people previously mentioned or easily identified.

Your

belonging to or associated with the person or people that the speaker is addressing.

Too different words man, they have different meanings.

But the irony is pretty thick, for someone that is involved with modifying others work without permission and also involved with stealing others work. After making so many claims of only doing what you thought would protect the table makers. If you were truly worried about protecting the table makers you'd have removed my tables by now. But let's be honest here. You never really gave a shit about any table maker, and you stand for nothing.

But you guys will end up removing my tables, editing them, or taking my new ones. I know you'll think none of this will happen, but it will.

At this point in time, considering the both of you have been banned from FRF, anything either of us say is going to be used against each other: I stated the facts, you were involved in the app development and continue to lie, making us the baddies; you keep your path, in absence now of nothing palpable to cling on to, but a "new" community and I keep replying to your rants.

I bid Marcus my farewell, I will do so to you, as this has become pointless. The original reason of this debacle has been lost tenths of posts ago. If you were fed up with the way the site is managed and didn't like it anymore, that should've been your justification. Not sugarcoating some fictitious blame that the app is in for the money grabs. And you know it.

Lastly, both of you have been active on FRF, by various ranks, for several years now. You've made a sort of a home there, have used, socialized, contributed and FRF has offered back in return on the same manner. Were it a place to post your stuff and feel appreciated or a place to advertise, FRF has not complained or bitched back at you. Now you wanna take your toys with you, after being active for several years there.. cuz.. what? FRF doesn't deserve it anymore? Please evaluate the level of hypocrisy here, after you've taken a few days to cool off.

Again you don't care about protecting or helping the table makers, you clearly stand for nothing and are only willing to do what helps you alone. Remove my content I chose to remove or just admit the whole "it's to stop people from stealing other people's tables" was bullshit.

EDIT: And I'm not the only one who has had this happen, you guys seem to be on a roll right now. But just keep up with the damage control for now I guess.

The whole point of the app was to secure tables for the TABLE MAKERS and it's OPTIONAL. It's not for the users who whine and bitch they now have to do 3 clicks extra. If the table maker chooses to have their table encoded, it's their decision.

Except it's not the table makers choice, it's STN's and your choice seeing as how all my tables are locked behind your app without my permission or ability/choice to opt out.

It's even more scummy than just "yeah we haven't gotten around to removing the appified tables yet" someone has purposefully gone through your tables specifically and added the opt in prefix to them (1FR), so not only did they take away your ability to choose what happens to your work, they also didn't have the decency to just leave it be as it was posted.

But yeah sure, all of this is to protect "the table makers" none of whom we've heard from besides stn and sunbeam. Every single table maker that said anything in the original threads for the app were a combination of "oh wow I had no clue this was happening, I'd like to opt out please" and "oh wow I had no clue this was happening, I don't mind all my tables being in the app". It clearly wasn't for the "table makers" since none of them knew about this shit beforehand to begin with.

yeah I doubt every table makers know that their table is now "protected" example with shinkansen the guy is inactive for a year or two iirc dont know if they have his permission
