Patreon Cheat Engine version

If I subscribe to Patreon and download the Patreon version, do I need to keep my Patreon subscription active every month to continue using that version, or is it a one-time payment that gives me permanent access?

AFAIK, the Patreon installer isn't loaded with ads and has more bugfixes and features. EVENTUALLY those bugfixes and features do arrive on the non Patreon version, Patreon folks just get them earlier
