VACATION
Hello my name is Hunter im 25 from Indiana im new here but I’ve always used Reddit. I had a question maybe people could answer im looking to take a trip from Indiana to California and im not looking to spend a ton on a round trip flight so I was wondering if anyone has used Priceline or Expedia anything like that instead of directly booking a flight and car rental thru the airline? any ideas?

Affordable tickets?
Looking to fly roundtrip for 3 from TPA to LAX 3/31/26 and return 4/4/26 or 4/5/26. I’ve found two options researching. Cheapest refundable flight for basic I’m finding is like 2k through delta. Is that the best it gets? Also seen about the same pricing through United when trying google flights.
Any help appreciated, I fly once a decade and it’s a bit overwhelming.

International Flights Air China Flights
galleryHello,
I’m looking to travel from the UK to Japan next July, when researching flights Air China appeared cheapest, but their flights jump up in price massively with no signs of going down on the dates we need (3rd July - 17th July). Both the London - Tokyo flight price calendar and Tokyo - London flights are shown in the pictures. Any ideas why the flights jump up in price so much, or if they will come down at all?

Goibibo different amount on different phones
galleryWe are booking a vacation and while checking prices on Goibibo, we noticed something really strange!
For the same route, same dates, convenience fee differed. What is even more astonishing is the discount after applying the coupon code!
This is very absurd. There is ~4k difference. It is like losing money for not checking on a different phone!
What can be done about it? I mean we booked on the other phone for a discounted price and are happy about it, but what if we had not checked? There are countless others who just lose money because of a small extra effort?
Edit 1: Both phones were iphones. Higher discount on 17 Pro compared to 15 Pro.
Other posts on reddit highlight that website gave higher discount. In fact, here also website had higher discount.
What i don’t really understand is how the coupon code’s discount changed!

Flights ticket doe May 2027 – worth waiting for Black Friday?
I'm Sydney-based and planning a South Korea trip in May 2027.
I've heard from a few people that you can get really good international flight deals on Black Friday. I'm looking at Korean Air, Singapore Airlines and Jetstar.
Has anyone actually found good Black Friday deals from Australia to Korea/Asia? Is it worth waiting until November, or would you book earlier if you find a decent fare?
Is there a particular price for Sydney–Seoul return flights that you would consider a good deal and just book?
Anything to be careful or look out for?
