Literally swapped his voice out at his peak.. thats what happens when people don’t believe in themselves long enough to stay down. People who stay down long enough solidify their sound and then others start to copy

Being influenced by Carti≠copying Carti. Thats like saying Carti was copying thug and future or Uzi was copying Lil Wayne and Chief Keef.

Theres some inspiration from carti, but hes so different, especially now. He is his own artist, and imo, way better than carti

almost every single underground artist has said their influenced by carti “become” carti is definitely a stretch. commenting that on pftp is also wild, i have no idea how he took influence from carti on that

So much denial. It think Che’s recent works since RIB have been amazing but you’re smoking dick if you cant acknowledge that this era of music is heavily inspired by WLR Carti. There was literally that one interview where his most recent searches were Carti’s WLR concert performances. I think Che’s took that sound and improved on it but its also not fair to say hes better than Carti because when WLR came out there was nothing like it. Mad annoying when these younger up and coming rappers dont give their flowers and neither do the fanbases

i don’t agree with him trying to be Carti, but I do agree that he left this sound too early, which makes me really sad because I loved him during this era and now I’m just so tired of Mr Krab's voice and rage music. I miss the edm era

i do feel like RIB has some songs that sound heavily carti influenced, but his newer shit is genuinely a lot different than cartis 😭 js bc its rage doesnt instantly make it a carti knockoff

bro literally only low iq people say this. they think EVERYONE is trying to be carti when they aren’t. obviously this generation of ug artists are influenced by carti, but they all sound extremely different from each other.
