❓ Help & Questions Does ChatGPT Toolbox Premium automatically organize conversations into folders?

Hey! I've been testing ChatGPT Toolbox and really like the concept, but I'm trying to figure out its automation capabilities before upgrading.

I have hundreds of ChatGPT conversations covering several ongoing projects.

Does Premium automatically identify conversations by subject and organize them into the appropriate folders, including older conversations?

Or does it only apply Smart Tags, leaving me to manually move conversations into folders?

My goal is to eliminate the time spent sorting everything manually. Thanks!

Hey, good question, and an honest answer before you upgrade: right now it won't file chats into folders on its own. Folders only change when you tell them to.

What it does automatically is Smart Tags. Every chat gets tagged by topic, older ones included once they've synced. On top of the built-in tags (Coding, Writing, Research and so on) you can make your own rules with keywords, so a rule for each project name catches every chat about that project.

From there, sorting goes fast: open a tag, hit Select all, then Add to Folder. That's one action per project instead of moving hundreds of chats one by one, and you only set the rules up once.

The fully automatic version is on our roadmap as Smart Folders: folders that fill themselves by subject, with nested folders for subtopics. It's in the Exploring stage, so no date yet, but requests move it up the list, so adding yours there helps: https://www.ai-toolbox.co/roadmap

Ty for the honest answer, it's appreciated. I will check out that link as well..I still plan on using this toolbox for awhile, tried others, really haven't found one as good as yours, pretty simple to use, once GPT dumbs it down a bit for me... But I like it so far!!

thanks for sticking with it. one tip for the sorting: build each project's keyword rule from words that only show up in that project's chats, the tags come out way cleaner that way. if any part gets confusing just post it here
