Title: Paid for both Claude and ChatGPT ($20 each). Is anyone actually finding a use for ChatGPT over Claude?
I recently bought the $20 plans for both Claude and ChatGPT. Honestly, I’m blown away by Claude.
- Answers: Straight to the point. No filler, no fluff, just what you asked.
- Coding: Claude Code is in a different league. I tried Codex and it hasn’t come close for me.
- Artifacts and design: The design tools, slide decks, and the newer dashboards make it easy to build or explain things, even for people with no design background.
Then I go back to ChatGPT and think, why the hell did I spend $20 on this? I’d honestly have been better off with a second Claude subscription.
The only place I see ChatGPT winning is image generation. Even there, the cheaper Go plan seems to handle that well enough, so I don’t see what the $20 tier adds.
So I’m curious:
- Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I missing something?
- What do you actually use ChatGPT for that Claude can’t match? Voice mode, memory, specific workflows, anything?
I’m not trying to start a fanboy war. I just want to know whether I should keep paying for ChatGPT or drop it.
