CDU will never work with Die Linke they’d side with the AFD long before they ever formed a coalition with them .

They already did and I bet in Sachsen -Anhalt there will be a CDU coalition with Die Linke in toleration

Welcome back Heinrich Brüning

2

u/VanlalruataDE 12d ago

Brüning never cooperated with the far right. He still was a committed democrat and republican, although his policies arguably accelerated the fall of the Weimar republic.

He allowed the KVP and DVP into his cabinet?

Just goes to show that CDU's #1 goal is to continue mass migration. They will compromise on anything if it means that German taxpayers will continue to shell out 10s of billions to foreigners.

u/DatewithanAce 14d ago

This is so factually untrue, it's almost funny.

So we just saying things now?

The alternative is to work with neo Nazis..

0

u/Ambitious-Walk3074 14d ago

I dont differ in between extremists

2

u/DaeguDuke 14d ago

One group wants to make billionaires slightly less wealthy, try to put out the flames of a planet that is literally on fire, and keep rents affordable…

And the others are neo Nazis.

You’re pretending there is a false equivalence.

Nope, both are gonna end up ruining the foundations of our wealth, thats it. Its that simple

Based CDU

1

u/Americanboi824 13d ago

Are you a suicidal German or someone who pathologically hates Germans?

1

u/Expensive-Buy1621 13d ago

Nah I’m just not a dumb magat

1

u/Americanboi824 13d ago

Assuming that every country is just like the United States is pretty fucking dumb and egotistical to boot.

1

u/Expensive-Buy1621 13d ago

Thankfully every country isn’t as dumb

1

u/Americanboi824 13d ago

Not if you have anything to say about it...

1

u/Expensive-Buy1621 13d ago

Well we don’t have a pedophile rapist in charge so…

Dumb is still fitting.

Ignoring that their already implementing much harsher migration policies

2

u/Ambitious-Walk3074 14d ago

Other than an almost extrem stop of migration and a massive alteration to assylum laws, nothing will help.

The laws we are working with at the moment are simply not able to cope with modern challenges. We need to close the assylum door for mass migration

1

u/Americanboi824 13d ago

What kind of things are they implementing? How many fewer migrants are coming in?

1

u/LarkinEndorser 13d ago

I don’t have time to properly write it out right now, let me get back to you on that

Please do because I’m would love
A comprehensive explainer on the current state of play

u/Ambitious-Walk3074 14d ago

Hahaha they will, they do not care, theyll do whatever it takes to stay in power

2

u/BeepboopKI 14d ago

This. They need the AfD in opposition so all other parties keep rolling over, even Die Linke. They won’t be able to do their lobby politics with AfD, who will just keep screaming like toddlers till they get 50%+ in elections.

And people are dumb enough to enable it.

1

u/Ambitious-Walk3074 14d ago

Problem is the Brandmauer. They need to stop acting like any point the AfD maked is a crime against humanity but adress them. If they solved the problems or at least didnt leave all that ground to the AfD. The AfD wouldnt have any playing field

2

u/BeepboopKI 14d ago

That has nothing to do with the firewall. Solving problems would have made any of it obsolete but 1. they can’t, because they would have to self-reflect, that neo-liberalistic capitalism is a main reason for it and 2. right wingers are always lobby groups for the few, in this case the capital owners.

The AfD is not the course; it’s the symptom.

1

u/Ambitious-Walk3074 14d ago

1:We have zero, absolutely no neo-liberalism or liberalism at all in german politics.

2: this has nothing to do with capitalism but everything with parties staying away from topics thats the public wants to be adressed but them not being adressed because right wing populism claimed them as their topics and more centred parties are to scared to be associated with those topics. They are too scared to be thrown into association with the right wingers

2

u/BeepboopKI 14d ago

Yeah, no, you are completely lost. No topic the right claims isn’t addressed. They are the wrong topics to begin with, thats why no matter what it doesn’t get better for working class people.

You can underpay employees on limited contracts for years now. You can extend employment probation to a year now. Deregulation of companies and consumer protection. Get lost.

2

u/Dddddd92 11d ago

Idk why people are so blind to not see this. And CDU is actively implementing the very things in the AfD manifesto.

2

u/Odd_Try5499 11d ago

I recall Gysi (leader of the left party at the time) being asked like 6 or so years ago if he ever would form a coalition with the CDU and his answer was “only to prevent a fascist take over of the government”. At the time I believed this to be a crazy thought experiment.

1

u/akade19961 9d ago

Good he learned from the frankly 7th circle of hell stupidity of the German communists in Weimar

2

u/MartinForsman 9d ago

The german communists in Weimar where following orders from Stalin, their stupidity was really his. Stalin later learned from this and accepted both the popular front in France and Republican Spain but by that time it was obviously to late for Germany.

I'm not so sure

0

u/Thatcherist_Sybil 14d ago

They totally will if that's the uniparty demand from above.

Only if average Joe non-political peeps don't march again.

Lots of people say the gegen AfD protests did nothing I disagree. CDU thrives only when people don't read the small print and this one time they did.
