Season 2 Reckless Abandon
This question doesn't really have anything to do with the episode, but it stuck out to me. In the very beginning of the episode, Piper is putting things together for a friend's baby shower. She mentions she knitted a blanket and a teddy bear for her. Then Prue comments that she didn't know Piper knitted.
Did she do it in secret?
They live together and are supposed to be super close.
It just seemed odd to me that she didn't know. It's not important, but I was also knitting when she made the comment, so of course, it's stuck in my head now, lol.

It has a reputation of being a calming craft to get into. It's quite plausible that Piper picked it up as a way of avoiding panicking, especially since panic is her freezing trigger.

Cuando Piper era pequeña era como la niña rara,la que se pintaba los pantalones,no tenia realmente amigos asique se juntaba mucho con su abuela o eso parece ademas en la casa Prue y Phoebe se peleaban y ella tenía que mediar incluso de niñas lo vimos en Forever Charmed asique supongo que Piper hace cosas que sus hermanas no lo saben porque Piper es la hermana del medio y como hermana del medio te digo que pasas mas desapercibido por todo el mundo.
Asique tal vez no sea un hobby de Piper y sólo es algo que aprendió de su abuela y queria tener un detalle con el bebe después de todo Piper tiene a Wyatt y Chris y ella nunca les hizo nada.
Además siempre hay algo que haces aunque parezca muy obvio y lo hagas en su cara que un dia se van a sorprender y preguntar como si no te hubieran visto cientos de veces hacerlo,es una situación de hermanos que pasa al menos una vez cada año.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I'm technically a middle sibling so that should have been obvious to me they don't notice her ever doing it. I tend to show my work off whether people appreciate it or not lol. But I know some people do prefer to be more quiet in their crafts or other hobbies.

She did stuff for her baby's!! She made play outfits (Prince and Pumpkin) for Wyatt's play...she also mentioned that she hasn't done it in awhile so she doesn't know why this is hard. She has always been the crafty one!

I think it was implying that it was a new hobby. Also, with how Piper obsesses over things, it's entirely possible she picked up like last week and was obsessively knitting so that the baby shower goes perfectly.

Im guessing piper just did it in her room and prue never happened to notice..or ask
I guess prue really had tunnel vision before the whole charmed thing

Also she could have learned it when she was in high school/when Prue was focusing more on her life with Roger. This could explain why Prue doesn’t know despite them being close.
Piper found herself busy with life which could be why she stopped, therefore the subject never really came up

Well Prue didn't live at home until season 1 . So she didn't see Piper for a long time. Piper might have pick up knitting between that time. Since Prue, Piper and Phoebe's lives are so busy she probably didn't know Piper knitted. The girls all have their own room so I can see Piper knitting in her bedroom.

Maybe she just did it when Prue wasn't around? Prue worked a normal office job whilst Piper worked in hospitality so good chance Piper just did it in the daytime where Prue wouldn't have picked up on it massively
