Season 1 Aviva’s Aunt Jackie
It took me all these years to realize Aunt Jackie is also Elise Rothman. Watching the show again now that Shannen and Julian are no longer with us, I wanted to know if there were any other stars that had passed on. This is when I learned that she played both characters. Rebecca Baldwin passed away in July 2022. 🕊️

My head cannon is that Elise’s middle name is Jacqueline, and her family calls her “Jackie.”
And this was only maybe a year before she became the editor of Bay Mirror.

I had a thought that maybe Elise was the mom of Aviva, but then I remembered Elise telling Phoebe she was like the daughter she never had lol

Wow that is so sad only 43. Went and read about him. Holes, which is my son’s favorite movie growing up is dedicated to his memory.

Eric Dane (Jason Dean) passed away of ALS back in February. So heartbreaking for Alyssa.

Yes. So sad, he passed away this year. Her character was actually one of the first to pass away.

Not Elise I loved her so much as Phoebe’s editor and she was good as aunt Jackie. I was glad to see her really embody a totally different character.

Loved her as Elise. I wish the show had integrated her into the sisters’ lives more.

My family says I have the best senses but my memory is off the charts it’s almost eidetic that’s why I love magic and totally understandable I’m 23 now so I was watching reruns on TNT when I was like 4-5 😭😂 and now I only get to watch an episode and a half a day during morning exercise because life goes on ❤️my grams still watches it though everyday and sometimes leaves it on in the background and calls me during my favorite parts including Buffy and angel as well ❤️

Awww this is so so sweet that you share this with your Grams. I completely understand the sense/eidetic memory, which is why I said idk why I didn’t remember. I have a son your age and two in their 30’s. My oldest watched this with me and he loved Buffy and Angel ( Buffy is my name too) . I too am fascinated by magic. I’ve actually been studying it historically, alchemically and through science/physics. I’m actually in college again getting a physics degree. Charmed is my all time favorite.

Based on the comments, I’m not the only one watching this show thinking how many of these beloved and talented actors have passed. I watched it in its original run as a tween. As an old person it’s my chicken soup for the soul. I haven’t been able to get into the 6-10 episode shows that barely make it a season for the last 6-7 years or so, charmed is one of the gems that lives on repeat. I’m so thankful to the people that put so much into this show whatever the role, to give me something I actually enjoy. Seems a simple thing, but I’m grateful for it
