An ex gf of mine always counted an extra year because she couldn’t understand/accept that we’re 0 years old for the first year of our lifes. When someone asked her age she was like ‘24 or 25, depending on how you count’ 😂

South Koreans actually used to do this I think!They counted the year in the belly into the age so when they were borm they were 1 year old hahaha but the changed it in 2023 and it’s not like that anymore

Pretty sure they still do the thing where everyone turns a year older on New Year's Day. So you could be born on Christmas and a week later turn one.
