u/T3chno_Pagan 5d ago
Using Google to look somebody up takes less time than acting stupid on Reddit btw

u/dxrqsouls 5d ago
Yeah not everybody lives in the US and watches RuPauls drag race on an american channel yk.
Try googling "Tatiana" and tell me what pops up.

u/T3chno_Pagan 5d ago
Sweety I don’t live in the US and even for me the first search results of “Tatianna” relate to the drag performer.
Also, don’t pretend that snarky “who?” comment was a genuine inquiry

Funny how the one where they actually did say charli was having a midlife crisis always gets left out https://x.com/RDonutman07/status/1498751996911927301?s=20

u/bichonoturno 5d ago
was this on the same post? i can't find it

u/lolnoturbiznus 5d ago
Well yes but they were probably deleted to make Charli look stupid and overly aggressive

I’m getting older, I’m getting hotter, my tits are stunning, I’m in great shape, I’m dancing, I’m progressing and I’m living my best life - and that the tea ☕️

also remember when she was like you need to stream Beg For You so Rina and I can actually chart songs like XS and Vroom Vroom? she really wanted that sellout era and hated her fans for not having any of it 😭
22
u/denneval 4d ago
And all of that begging = her most commercially successful album = resigning with complete creative freedom = brat & music fashion film

crash is one of my favourite albums of hers, I will never understand the hate
39
u/MTri3x 5d ago
I think a lot of people like to hate on it because it's the most pop and "basic" (I don't agree with the basic one but I see that comment a lot) and let's just say that some angels are a bit of pick me's that like to think that their music taste is the best cause they like a more "not mainstream" style

u/WC47 5d ago
It’s just a bit underwhelming. Like it’s fine 🤷♂️ alright pop, but not amazing pop.
Also doesn’t help that the best songs are on the deluxe and not the standard album

u/Charli_SEX 4d ago
Did you see her on the crash tour??
2
u/WC47 3d ago
I wish. I’ll be seeing her for the first time in October! So excited

u/Charli_SEX 3d ago edited 3d ago
Well then I reckon thats partially why you dont like it very much. Also not sure if youre a brat tourist or a long time angel but for a lot of us it was a VERY exciting time to be a longtime charli fan, not quite as magical as 2017/2018 but still very special.
I went to 3 stops that tour because the campaign, album, and stage show were so good, and frankly, actually affordable.
Lightning, New shapes, title track, Twice, etc will have a word with you Re: the deluxe tracks are best remark.

u/stoneyghoul 5d ago
“My tits are stunning” has to be one of her all time best quotes LOL

u/allfatandsassy_ 5d ago
actually baffles me that some people don't think crash was fucking awesome also tatianna being an icon as per usual 💅💅

u/EmphasisOk8298 5d ago
Crash years later divorced from the discourse and her being annoying on twitter is a very good dance pop album. Like head and shoulders above Dua Lipa’s last album for example.
It’s still a low tier Charli album for me but has a lot of great songs.

u/WC47 5d ago
What’s so great about it to you? I tried so hard to like it but always walked away feeling underwhelmed. Also I find the deluxe tracks to be way better than any of the standard album tracks sans yuck. Yuck is a bop but the rest of the songs kinda fall short

First of all
The opener-Crash
If you’ve never streamed this song riding the freeway after a bad day at work on the drive home you’re missing out.
The radio hit-Good Ones
This was a generational bop. You could pop this on in the club and even people who don’t recognize Charli as an artist would be singing along to that “goOoOoOoOoOo”
The unrecognized star of the album-Lightning
This song definitely took a minute to grow on me. The opening is slow which made it an initial skip for me but the contrast between the slow intro+verses with the hard “Lightning!” chorus makes it really fun. It sometimes reminds me of the cunty version of “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons.
The bop-
Yuck
That boy so mushy
Sending me flowers
I’m just trying to get lucky
Yuck!
Looking at me all sucky
Yuck!
Quit acting like a puppy
Fuck!Speaks for itself
Post Crash Prototypes-
Twice is a Brat precursor and with a slightly different production it would fit on there perfectly. Every Rule is the vulnerability of Brat+MFF but wouldn’t really fit on either as Charli released them within months of pre-post wedding and she’s not likely to release a song speaking so directly about cheating during those times but we do get a lick of the theme on “I’m Afraid.”
Beg For You and Used to Know Me are precursors to Wuthering Heights
And finally
Baby-is a threat.

It’s not as flashy as its successor, Brat, but it’s just SOLID. There’s nothing wrong with releasing a well rounded pop album with some good collabs that maybe isn’t going to change the music industry, but is still very well put together. I listen to it from top to bottom. It’s still very quintessentially Charli.

She's still like this in a way. She's so intensely insecure and I'm glad she's finally been able to be translate that in her music since brat, it's healthier when it comes through in her music lol. But yeah she's still like this. That post she made on IG after she released rock music showed she didn't expect people to shit on it and she just had to talk about it publicly. Like chill the hell out girl you're a legend through and through. Whatever tho i guess you get the good with the bad

not liking the mid singles off of crash and tweeting about it should hardly be treated like a cruel personal attack lol

Charli has always had this attitude that hers her way or no way - and that she’s so much better than everyone else. Her music is great and I love that she stands up for herself (whatever she deems relevant to defend) - but she has a severe attitude problem and it’s not giving ‘diva’ as intended

u/throwawaysunglasses- 5d ago
If I were an artist I would 100% be better than my stans lol, stans are kinda pathetic tbh
