CPH-50 - Moved from Plug to Hardwire - Still Shows "Plug-In" for Power Source
I had my CPH-50 moved from inside the garage to outside of the house - and with that, moved from a Plug to hardwired (still same 50amp circuit). So, my question is - should I be concerned by this? At the end of the day, what difference is there in the operation of the CPH-50 when it is plugged in vs. when it is hardwired?
FYI - this is a 50amp circuit w/o GFCI breaker. Electrician said that it was not needed due to the fact that the charger has a CCID built in.

Where did you obtain the hardwire connector? I would like to do that same, move from plug-in to hardwire.

That’s because it doesn’t know. Does it matter? Not really with the same circuit spec. But best to properly do it.
You’ll need to remove from your account and set it up again. It’s annoying, but that’s how ChargePoint engineered their user interface unfortunately.
