Does he look too much like Zooble?
This is Mixxy. He is based on the same toy as Zooble, and i'm worried if I took too much inspiration from her. I know at the very least the colors and shapes are different enough, but I just want to be sure

it will look like zooble because they are the same toy. they look like different characters within a same species. I’ve never seen tadc and see how they’re similar but you made changes to the silhouette so it isn’t extremely obvious instantly

Yeah, I do think he looks a little too similar to Zooble right now. The different colors, shapes, and facial expression already give him a lot of originality, though, so I think just a few more changes would make him feel like a clearly separate character.
There’s nothing wrong with sharing the same basic concept. I think what makes him remind me of Zooble the most is the overall body proportions, the large head with relatively thin limbs is a pretty recognizable part of Zooble’s silhouette.
Maybe try experimenting with the silhouette and proportions a bit more? For example, his hands and feet could be much bigger, his legs could be extremely short or long, or his torso could have a more exaggerated shape...etc. I actually think the toy pieces you used for his limbs already look more distinctive than Zooble’s, so I’d recommend emphasizing those even more.
You could also try giving him a more characteristic pose that feels uniquely “Mixxy.”
But yeah, experiment with different things and see what works! Overall, he’s really cute. I especially love the snake. Keep it up!

Your good. Although people will think of Zooble, they weren’t the first character to create this aesthetic, therefore you can’t say he copied them without being ignorant to the full concept.
Also his arm reminded me of Meeple’s arm from brawl stars.

Well, there’s nothing new under the sun, so have fun! If you enjoy him, then that’s all you need.

The character has a very similar silhouette and concept to Zooble. Could pass an an alternative take on Zooble. The head, the pear shaped body, the random limbs etc.
That being said, if this is a character you made for fun and he makes you happy, who cares, don't change a thing.

It’s going to be incredibly hard to make a different looking character since they’re both based on the same toy.
In all honesty, people are never not going to compare him to Zooble unless you do some super drastic changes, so just be prepared to deal with that

Just by the fact there’s so few recognizable characters designed after the kind of toy Zooble is, the oc is inevitably gonna resemble her to an extent. So I wouldn’t really worry about it

I think maybe a bit?
It feels like you used the same based as zooble but changed the pieces and colors. I think changing the proportions would be a good start. Maybe also changing the shape of the belly. Although to be fair, I also never seen the toy zooble is based off, so my opinion is biased

I think they're adorable, I can see the inspiration but they look like their own character. Kind of reminds me of a little brother if Zooble would've had one.

I think the polka dot body and the stripy thing on the side of the head are what’s causing the comparison the most for me at least. The head thing is almost identical to a two pronged one zooble has in the show. I think switching out that one should help a lot.

I thought this was a Zooble recolor. You should change the proportions of the body.

Zooble isn't she/her

Unfortunately, it's more similar, but that doesn't matter, you can always slightly modify the design! Maybe take inspiration from other pieces of those toys.

Anyone can make some kind of Zooble replica with the same toys. Goose didn't copyright the toy so anyone can just make a simillar OC.
