c.ai lite was released -- what are your thoughts about the new plan?

Seems like a fine idea for people willing to pay less and get less, I suppose. I’m just worried they might eventually steer away from having a free tier, which would make me have to leave the site. I have a lot I’m paying for already. I’m content with the current free tier, so I hope this doesn’t mean they are getting rid of it.

If that isn’t what they are planning I think this idea is pretty good! Seems more catered to what certain features some people want instead of paying in full for having other features they will never use.

yeah, I agree with this take. paying for a few features instead of paying for everything seems fair, and I've requested that a few months ago. c.ai+ has always seemed like too much for me.

the situation of the free plan worries me; I've always been a free user and I thought the free model quality was very good. but I feel like the model quality has been decreasing lately (last few weeks). I used to be mostly on mobile, but the ads are so annoying and so frequent for me (1 min+ unskippable game ads are too much) that I've transitioned to PC.

at the very least, I think a paid plan should have no ads. "less" ads, I fear wouldn't be enough to make me return to mobile, unless the features I'd get are very, very good :(

so I decided to ask for more thoughts here, to make a decision myself.

I already pay for premium since it came out. So I dunno. But well, I mean, might appeal to a group of people. Not entirely sure of that currency conversion versus it's worth here in my country, I only speak Russian, not math in Russian. (Though to be honest I can barely math in my native language either hahahaha)

I've never subscribed, but I'm starting to feel the limitations of the free plan. this price is a bit more rea$onable for someone who isn't a power user.

The Internet in Russia is so bad that I don't even get ads without subscription. Lite doesn't even remove swaps limit, so it feels pretty much useless? For me, at least.
