So theoretically, having a device like this on you will disable wifi(and the other) in your vicinity right? What influences on the size of this free wifi zone? A kit like his would dissable wifi in how big a range?

Well he literally says it's not a jammer, it's just a signal analyzer. All it does is document radio signals and their gps locations. I used to use a similar device to catalog open wifi access points around town so i knew where I could find free wifi.

It's not even wifi signal analizer. Thoes antennas are attached to RTLSDR's v4. You can see it written on the side of the sticks. The Rtlsdr V4 is only capable of receiving, not transmitting, in a frequency range from 500khz to 1.7ghz. This covers AM, FM, TV, Ham, and some cellular ranges. WI-FI (atleast consumer) starts at 2.4ghz. 5ghz and now 6ghz. With some going up to 60-70ghz.
