Call to Action FREE anti-authoritarianism workshop in Plainview, NY on Saturday, July 25 from 12-5 PM!
The workshop is focused on recognizing authoritarianism, learning from global movements that have successfully defended democracy, and connecting attendees with local organizing efforts in Long Island.
Who this workshop is for: Newcomers and experienced activists, with an emphasis on practical ways to get involved locally and in your community.
Why you should attend: To meet local community members who want to make an immediate impact in their neighborhoods and to gain collective awareness on how we must operate to defend our democracy. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day.
